The Harmon Declaration of Prosperity

WHEN in the Course of human Events it becomes necessary for one Person to dissolve the Mental Bands which have connected her with others, …a decent Respect to the Enlightenment of Humankind infers that she might declare the causes which impel her to the Separation.

I, Mary-Elizabeth Harmon, hold these truths to be biblically evident:

Words start worlds.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
GENESIS 1:3

Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
PROVERBS 18:21

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
JESUS; MATTHEW 12:37

God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
ROMANS 4:17

Our creative potential is on par with Jesus.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

JESUS; JOHN 14:12

Thus…

BY USING WORDS TO CALL OUT WHAT COULD BE—NOT WHAT IS—EACH OF US HAS THE POWER TO MAKE MIRACLES AND START A NEW LIFE & WORLD.

Our words feed (and reflect) our consciousness.

And our way of thinking—fueled by the way we feel—gives rise to our physical reality.

To make heaven on earth, our work is to go unto our Father—or unto the kingdom of Christ consciousness, like through meditation—and align our default thoughts, words, deeds and emotions with that higher, loving awareness.

By trying to make heaven by resisting hell, we unwittingly keep hell alive by keeping it front and center in our minds, which starves the heaven that could be of our imagination, or creative power.

Therefore, I say that…

Resistance impedes prosperity making.

Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil

JESUS; MATTHEW 5:38-39

And per Jesus, I hold evident that…

Meekness is the pathway to true power and making widespread prosperity.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth
JESUS; MATTHEW 5:5

Thus…

“UNTRIGGERABLE” PEOPLE FUELED BY LOVE,
AND A VISION OF WHAT COULD BE, SHALL PREVAIL.

Thomas Paine rightly said, “We have it in our power to begin the world over again.” By revisiting the meaning of meekness and other words—sin, repentance and righteousness—we can use the Bible to begin a prosperous world for all.

SIN:
Sin means error thinking—that which robs our inner peace—or “missing the mark” putting love, and related qualities, into practice.

REPENTANCE:
Repentance means to have a radical change of mind, or to “turn away” from sin—error thinking—toward a belief in the way of Spirit: the way of pleasantness (and nonresistance).

RIGHTEOUS:
Righteous means “right thinking.” Righteousness means “harmony in consciousness.”

Ultimately, righteous indignation is a contradiction in terms. It may feel just and spur us into action, but in the end cuts us off from the righteousness—mental harmony—we need to receive divine guidance to create desired outcomes without the struggle.

Per the Bible, I also hold evident that…

Mental harmony is the master key to true prosperity.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.

JESUS; MATTHEW 6:33

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.
ROMANS; 12:2

True prosperity means living fully alive.

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have IT more abundantly.
JESUS; JOHN 10:10

True prosperity is as near as we decide.

Repent [have a radical change of mind], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
JESUS; MATTHEW 5:38-39

Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’?
Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

JESUS; JOHN 4:35

Joyfulness is the fast track to true prosperity.

Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
JESUS; MATTHEW 18:3-4

Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
ZECHARIAH 4:6

Neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
NEHEMIAH 8:10

Thus…

ENJOYING LIFE IS THE GREATEST SERVICE WE CAN PAY
OURSELVES OR SOCIETY.

By enjoying life, we serve as breathing examples of what’s possible for others. And like viruses, our moods and emotions are infectious and can go viral with global impact.

Sadly, fear and outrage are spreading and we may resist expressing our joy when many others are struggling emotionally or otherwise. But remember: the JOY of the Lord is our strength, and resistance will work on us in bad ways if kept up.

Plus, our unhappiness never lightens the load of another.

We don’t follow God’s lead and call forth what could be.

But instead we use our words—our commands to start worlds—to affirm the supremacy of others and their power to shape our lives.

We worship Jesus instead of heeding what he said.

We seek first to be RIGHT, not righteousness—harmony in consciousness—to allow all these things to be added unto us with ease and grace.

And from our mental conflict, …

We unintentionally—yet effectively—pass down our burdens.

We teach our children, who teach their children, that they’re unsafe and the odds are stacked against them, which thwarts their innate ability to dwell in the kingdom of heaven, or the higher awareness required to make lives they love and break generational chains.

We insist on being right and get triggered, and thereby forfeit inheriting the earth.

We don’t seek to repent (have a radical change of mind) and be meek—untriggerable—and wind up getting mired in offense at what is, which seeps our power to create something else.

A Course in Miracles says that we can have grievances or miracles, but not both.

Joshua 24:15 says “choose you this day whom ye will serve.”

Who shall it be for you?

Personalities, including your own, who affirm the power of others and your need to fight?

Or your soul who’s asking you—through feeling—to lay down your arms and enjoy your life?

If any of this resonates and you’re ready to create prosperity for yourself and others, I invite you to sign up for a monthly roundup of stories from my newsletter on LinkedIn, The Prosperity Papers. Note that this declaration shares my understanding. It doesn’t mean that I’ve mastered everything I said.
